2010: Heeding Bowman

Drell-7 (drell-7.deviantart.com/ ) has decided to dust off his Leonov model and get back to business with illustrating Clarke's "2010" novel, which differs in significant ways from the movie. One notable difference is in the design of the Leonov. This is a cooperative project between myself and Drell-7, though its important to note that at this stage it's mostly his baby. The ship was designed by both of us, but the modeling and art is Drell-7. My current role is as a creative adviser and putting together the presentation layouts.

Here's hoping we can make it to mission's end in this burst of creativity. I'd still like to make a "mission poster" that illustrates the full mission profile, but we'll see what the future holds.
