Climb! by Rob-Caswell Climb! by Rob-Caswell
The Archer class scout, Sagittaruis, climbs towards flatspace after exploring the surface of a curious planet in the Taurus Reach.

Just trying to get my Trek chops tuned up. Archer class scout mesh created by Mark Azevedo - www.3dmaz.com. Ship design by Masao Okazaki. Poser/DS conversion and enhancement by Ptrope w/ texture support by Arcas.

I'm so enamored by this ship design , your interpretation is spot on! Will you ever show the inside of the ship? Would you ever consider doing an updated tech version ALA enterprise series ; of the ship ? Im not a huge fan of set design and clothes of 60's era Trek but I love the series and see how much you do also- in these wonderful art pieces. it's a shame that that the Star Trek franchise hasn't spun off a series based on your art and the seeker books it would make an incredible TV series . The fact that the Archer class scout can planet land opens a slew of episodical possibilities! Please keep the art coming!

Thanks for the kind words and shared enthusiasm for the Archer class! If "Seekers" last long enough we'll probably see an upgraded Sagittarius. No plans (from me) to show the ship interior anytime soon.

Right now I'm a little all Trekked out, but I have to admit, this is one amazingly cool pic.

I get a sense that this Archer vessel took off in a hurry, but for what reason ... ?

*cue up majestic adventure music* :D

I'm glad I could get past your Trek overload. I try to do something at least a tiny bit fresh with Trek. I don't always succeed, but I try to go "where no man has gone before" ;)
As to their hurry I leave it in your capable hands to fill in the blanks ;)

Heh, I bet they were on that planet with the giant neandertals.  The one where Spock commanded the Galileo 7 landing party.  omfg

Love your work.

I can't help but marvel at that tiny little ship! She's so small, you could fit her in your pocket!
