Ringworld Lander: Tech Version

This is really neat! You know looking at this, and earlier stories during the Schaeffer era when the Puppeteers were still around making ships for people in Known Space, is there any mention of what spaceship combat is like during that era? With like 95% of the ships being made out of the transparent GP hull, I have to wonder what navies or piracy or anything would've been like involving starship combat.
