The Urban Jungle

While walking through the center of LaSpezia on my recent Italy trip, I spied this stone fence post with a moss cap. It reminded me of a terrarium (not an Amish one...) - a complete little ecosystem in isolation. Spectacular views and ancient buildings all around me, and I shoot a fence post
